Tariranje 2013

Our traditional Tara tour took place a little later than usual this year – mid November, which granted us with a different landscape and ground conditions than we’re used to.  Shorter and colder days, leaves almost completely gone, wet and more difficult trails, it was a true foggy adventure that had a very special mystical feeling about it. We had very comfortable accomodation in the mountain house “Tara” and the “Bajka” chalet at Kaluđerske Bare, and an unusually high attendance of our club members and friends – 34 people in 15 Jeeps and other 4×4 vehicles. On day one we had a round trip on the Tara highlands visiting the Zaovine lake, Dikava and Sjenič scenic point, with a total length of about 85 km. On day two we covered 105 km crossing from Tara to Zlatibor mountain first, and then after visiting the Stopića cave and Sirogojno ethno-museum we ended the day with a lunch at Terzića Avlija restaurant in the village of Zlakusa.
