After a two year break our Homolje Gold Rush tour took place in April 2022 – twice! April, as the month when you can expect just about everything when it comes to weather, gave us sun, rain, and even snow, delivering challenging tracks. The story of the goldmines and gold prospecting on the rivers of eastern Serbia was somehow overshadowed by the mine management not being interested to arrange tourist visits, but we experienced both, neverthless.
