2 meters of snow that the Serbian Carpathians have received in February and March made the third Homolje Gold Rush tour by far the most complicated one to carry out. Although springtime was already in full swing, those epic amounts of snow have left deep and impassable snowdrifts of hard packed, wet snow on virtually every north oriented mountain road, and many of our key points of the tour have proven to be inaccessible. So the plan was often changed on the move and we had to improvise a lot. Nevertheless, the tour participants had a fantastic time, and were more than satisfied with what they’ve seen and experienced. Take a look at the video and pictures, and judge for yourself if this tour was on par with the previous two or not!
