This wasn’t a typical offroad tour – there was really very little driving, but very much wild beauty. We went to the Cheile Nerei-Beusnita national park in Romania, which is only about 130 km away from Belgrade and spent a weekend full of impressions there. We mostly hiked to the waterfalls and lakes in the national park, then we camped in two places on the Bei and Nera river (Cantonul Damian), and those of our members who prefer comfortable accomodation had nice rooms in Sasca Romana and Sasca Montana. On day two one part of our team went for a rafting tour down the Nera river, while a smaller part of the group explored the Susara canyon and waterfall on foot, and then went to explore the 4×4 approach that would bring us close to Lacul Dracului. A great weekend to remember!
