We have updated the photo album with 5 new galleries from our 2023 tours, so that now last season is completed, and you can find it in the usual place:
We have just added the photo gallery from the two Homolje Goldrush 2022 tours, which took place between April 10th and 23rd 2022. Just like we always expect from April, we’ve had sun and rain, even snow, so all driving conditions were present in the tour, occasionally putting the participants before challenging tasks in the golden mountains of eastern Serbia. We also visited the Majdanpek goldmine, as well as Todor’s river, where we were demonstrated the ancient art of gold prospecting.
Material from our 2019 season is starting to be added to our gallery – there are two new albums from some very inspiring tours that took place in the wilderness of Serbia in June and July. There is a widespread belief among overlanders that Serbia is the least interesting of the Balkan countries. We’re sure that, looking at these albums, you will get the opposite impression! Serbia has a broad diversity of different landscapes, probably being more diverse than any other of the Balkan countries, and offers fantastic possibilities for wilderness exploration, especially with some, in places quite demanding forest trails. However, if you take on Serbia, you’ll have to be ready to confront vegetation on a daily basis!
Ancient Trails is our brand new tour covering the mountains of central and southwest Serbia, and Secret Carpathians is our by far most popular tour, covering the serbian part of the Carpathians in eastern Serbia, continuing into the awe inspiring Balkan mountain range along the bulgarian border. Pictures speak much louder than words in both cases!
We’ve just released the 186 image photo album of the two enchanting Montenegro Highlands tours of 2018, and the recorded video material was put together into a 3 minute video. Take a look at this most stunning of southern European landscapes!
We’ve uploaded the photo album with three of the 2018 Secret Carpathians tours – July, September and October. It’s our way of introducing the magnificent landscape of the Serbian Carpathian mountains to the world – a tour that should not be missed by any wilderness admirer. Take a look!
It’s never easy to recapitulate a fantastic overlanding season in pictures, but 2017 was particularly hard – of more than 1000 extraordinary shots in the first pick, we barely managed to decide which ones to discard in order to leave only 250 of the very best.
This February has been a very active month for us. First we’ve (in cooperation with Rustika Travel) successfully conducted Serbian Snow Adventure, and a week later visited our friends from Jeep Club Romania (AJCR) who celebrated their 4th anniversary in Baia de Fier in the Carpathians, from February 12th to 14th.
